It’s the property’s flagship restaurant, and its arrival in early July 2026 gives Dune House a dining room that matches the rest of the house: a little worldly, deeply local, and unbothered by the idea that hospitality has to be fussy to be good.
What Coastal Farmer Is
The kitchen sits at the convergence of sea and land, pulling from Atlantic Beach’s own waters and the farms within driving distance, so a menu that mixes steak and seafood tastes like where it’s from, rather than where it was flown in from. Founded on the belief that the sea, the soil, and the people who tend them are the real luxuries of a life by the water, Coastal Farmer is aiming for a different kind of elevated: not imported, not precious, but hyper-local and in step with the seasons.

A menu built around steak and seafood, sourced close to home. The kitchen leans on named local purveyors, among them Châtel Farmes, Clayton Farm, Sharkbite Oyster Farm, and Mayport C&C Fisheries, for dishes like the Plateau Fruits de Mere, dry-aged steaks, and Gulf catch like blackened snapper and tripletail. The bar follows the same lead, with cocktails named for the shore and the open water, and a wine and beer list that stays close to home. The room leans on natural wood, rattan, soft linens, and pockets of greenery, a look that echoes the hotel’s own vintage surf-inspired sensibility, with a dune-facing patio that lets guests walk in straight from the sand.
